*My Plans For Winter Break*

This Winter break I am going to spend lots of time with my daughter. It Daisy's first Christmas so I am really excited to be with her this Christmas. On Saturday I am going to the store to buy presents for Daisy my sister and my brother and maybe Tony too. On Christmas eve we are going to be with the family at my grandma's house. If Tony doesn't work that night he's going over too. For food my mom is making tamales. I want to bake muffins and cookies with hot chocolate. On Christmas eve we are going to stay awake until 12 midnight to open the presents. I am excited because I am going to open Daisy's presents for her. On New years our family is going to get together at my grandmas house. I don't know yet what my mom is baking for New Years. Me like always I will probably bake a cake with the 2010 candle on top of the cake. I know for sure that there will be lots of grapes to wish at 12 midnight. I hope it will snow on Christmas and New Years. I will also be reading when Daisy is sleeping. Merry Christmas Becka and a happy New Years. ~~~Let It Snow!~~~

*Reading During Winter Break*

The book that I want to read during vacation is Romi and Julio. Iam really in to the book because is about a gang that doesn't want Romi to be with Julio. Finally the gang is in jail. Romi and Julio are missing. Nobody know were they could be. One of the gang member was Romi friend. Maleka told the officer that Romi and Julio could be at the Lago lake. The officer went and look for them but their weren't there. All he found was a Texas key chain and a bracelet. They key chain was Julio and the bracelet Romi. Their parents are really worried. They can't even sleep. Ben and Destiny are Romi and Julio best friends. They went and look for them at the lake. Destiny told Ben that Romi couldn't swim. This is a book the I would like to finish during Winter break.

*Evaluate The End Of The Book*

I like the book because I learn new things that I didn't know about Native Americans. They didn't get to get along with white people. I didn't know that when somebody dies they will go to the cemetery and sleep their for a night. I also like it because it made me laugh when he says bad words that are not allow to say to anybody. There's was also sad part of the story that made me think of things in my life. Like when Junior's grandma died and his sister died. That was really sad for Junior to loose two important people in his life. I think it had a good ending because in the beginning his parents didn't spend time with Junior or his sister. At the end when his sister dies his parents show him that they love him. Rowdy and Junior became good friends again. They forgot about the past and they were doing fun thinks together. Junior invite him to go to school with him for next year. I like the book!!

*Correct The Teacher*

Indian reservations are areas of land given to Native American tribes by the United States government. In the 1850-60s the government decided to move Indian's to land was unwanted by settlers. Many of the tribe's did not want to move to new lands and refused. Soon the government sent in the U.S. Army to force them to move to the new reservation lands. This caused many bloody wars between the Indians and the U.S. Army. Eventually, most Indians did move to the reservations. Today, reservations are run by their own tribal council, and less than half of Indians live on the reservations. Many of the Indians who live off the reservations live in large Western cities, Like Phoenix and Los Angeles.

*Arnorld*

I think that Junior doesn't have supportive family because his family doesn't really care about what he does. Also because his parents don't spend time with him. When he really needs his parents support they won't be their for him when he needs them. At the basketball game he didn't have his support either because his parent didn't cheer for him when he made a shot. When Arnord does something that his parents should be proud of him they won't tell him anything. Not even "I am proud of you"or "good job" nothing like that. Junior's dad if he would really care about his family he won't be drinking on Christmas. Junior understands that they don't have money but his dad didn't had to waste it on alcohol. He should of been with his family instead of being drunk for day at the bar. His mom she doesn't really say anything against Arnorld but she should be spending more time with her son. His grandma used to be the only one that would cheer him up and give him good advice. But now that his grandma past on he doesn't have anyone to talk about his life and what he thinks.

Romi and Julio

The book that I am reading is Romi and Julio. The book is about Julio. He is a new kids at school. He came from Texas because his parents and him were having problem with gangs. Romi is African American. Also Romi has been having bad dreams about fire and water all she heard is a deep voice but she doesn't know who it is. She wants to know why she been having those bad dreams. Romi she chat with him in private. The first day for Julio he got beat up by a purple gang. Romi didn't know that the kid she was chatting with goes to the same school. Until he told her that he wanted to meet her. That's how each other knew that they go to the same school. The purple gang didn't want Julio to be with Romi because they are not the same rice. Romi and Julio like each other. Romi give Julio a puppy. When Julio went and pick up the puppy they went for a walk. A black car was following them until they were heading back home. The car stopped. They were 4 guy with mean faces and guns. Romi and Julio they tried not to act like if they were scared. It was the purple gangs. They told Julio to stay away from Romi or else something bad will happened to both of them. Julio, Ben, and Romi they want to do something about the gang. They want that to stop.

New Christmas

If I could create my own Christmas tradition it would be really fun. Everybody would have to be at lest with 5 or more people. Nobody would be allow to be alone on Christmas eve or Christmas. They will have to give somebody a present for Christmas. Everybody has to be really excited. I would make sure that there is enough food for everybody. Music so everybody would get excited. Games so little kids could have fun too. Everybody would have the same amounts of presents. If I could make it be my Christmas I would make sure poor people would have food. Kids would have their presents. Everybody deserve to have food on the table for important holidays.

*My Favorite Colors*

My favorite colors are pink, yellow, green, blue and red. Pink is my first favorite color because it is a nice color for girls. I love wearing pink clothes. Yellow is one of my other favorite color because is bright and happy color. I like green because it is the color of the grass. I love summer because that trees are green. It makes me think that the trees came back to life. Blue is also my favorite color because is the color of the sky and beach. Being at the beach looking up of the sky just being relaxed. My last favorite color is red because is the color of the roses. I love bright red roses. Green and red are Christmas color. Also pink and red are Valentines Day.

*What I am doing this Weekend?*

Tomorrow I am going to the store to buy my daughter a dress. On Saturday I am going to the mall with Tony and my daughter to take her pictures with Santa. I hope she won't cry when Santa holds her. I think that she going to cry because she wont let other people that she doesn't know to holds her. When somebody she had seeing she will cry. I will send pictures to my family in Mexico and Tony's family in Chicago. When they finished taking her the picture we will go and eat Chinese food. After that we will just go around the mall and look around. On Sunday I will probably will go to church with my mom and sister. I have along time that I don't go to church since Daisy was 1 month old. I also need to find out what I am going to need when we baptises Daisy.
